Domain Committees are responsible for directly making other groups within IHE aware of certain milestones. This facilitates synergy; contributions to or leveraging of the work in your domain.


To Domain Coordination Committee

The co-chairs of the Domain Planning and Technical Committees (as noted below) are responsible for the following notifications (via email and by adding to the DCC Agenda) to the Domain Coordination Committee during the "Domain Announcements" item on each DCC agenda.

  • Call for new profile proposals (PC)
    • provide deadline for submission
    • provide date of selection
  • Results of profile selection (PC)
    • provide brief summary of each profile selected for development
    • identify any other domains whose input/use cases are specifically sought
  • Publication of profile for Public Comment (TC)
    • provide deadline for submission (please notify DCC 3-6 weeks before deadline)
    • identify any other domains whose input is specifically sought
  • Intention to evaluate a profile for Final Text (TC/PC)
  • Publication of profile as Final Text (TC)
  • Intention to evaluate a profile for Retirement (TC)
  • Retirement of profile

To IHE International Board

The Domain Board Representative is responsible for the following notifications to the IHE International Board during the "Domain Announcements" item on each Board agenda.
