Quick Notes:

Reviewed: Section Z (Volume 3, Content Modules) of the TF Supplement Template from the work from Harry Solomon two weeks ago.

Attending: Kevin O, Rob, Laura Bright, Lisa Nelson, Mary J, Chris, and Teri

Plan going forward:

  • Meeting next Monday 3/26 will focus on Document, Header, Section, and Entry table structures and definitions. (Rob and Kevin will be at WG6. Chris C out of town also.)
  • Meeting on Monday April 2nd focus will be TBD at 3/26 meeting.
  • Teri will clean up current Template document that we reviewed today by 3/26 for interactive review.

Stop trying to provide a single Content Module template to cover CDA, DICOM, XDW, whatever is next. Now: Volume 3 TOC will be re-structured as: (note does not break PCC, QRPH, Card, ITI, etc)

  • Section 6 - HL7
  • Section 6.3 - HL7 V3 CDA
  • Section 6.4 - HL7 v2
  • Section 7 - DICOM
  • Section 8 - XDW
  • Section 9 - whatever technology comes up next

Defer definition of DICOM and XDW templates. Get CDA done and out the door. Will fulfill 95% of demand today.

Given how much we are changing the templates and given the addition of Content Module, the format of Integration Statements needs to be reevaluated and the format may need to adapt.

Currently there are 4 options defined within PCC (eg. View Option, Discrete Data import option, etc), which are grouped with each Content Module Profile. However, there is no way to

? Should the Template IDs be included as part of the section titles such that they show up in the TOC? They were probably done that way in lieu of a real NameSpace catalogue.

? Should the words "Content Module" show up in each Word section title? Makes TOC really long, but might follow CDA conventions/standard usage.

? Should the word "Document, Section, Heading, and/or Entry" show up in each Word section title?
