Tests for XDS.b that are supposed to use ebRIM 3.0 have metadata files with ebRIM 2.1 metadata inside. Is this wrong?
All metadata input to xdstest is in ebRIM 2.1 format independent of the eventual wire format. The tool xdstest translates to ebRIM 3.0 format when appropriate. To see the wire format, run xdstest and look in the resulting log.xml file. The exact body of the transmission is found at //*Transaction/InputMetadata.
My Asynchronous Web Services request to the Public Registry server always fail.
The Public Registry server (ihexds.nist.gov) sits behind a firewall that does not allow the asynchronous interactions. To test, you must use Synapse as documented here.
