In the case of triage and nursing documentation, it is recognized that Triage notes ongoing ED Nursing notes may or may not be documented the using the same form or EHR system. Therefore, these notes may be sent separately or in a Composite Triage and ED Nursing note.

This is a content profile for the EDER folder. The EDER folder is a container for all documents created as a result of an ED encounter. These documents include, but are not limited to those described below. In the case of triage and nursing documentation, it is recognized that Triage notes ongoing ED Nursing notes may or may not be documented the using the same form or EHR system. Therefore, these notes may be sent separately or in a Composite Triage and ED Nursing note.
