XDS-Lab leverages the XDS DocumentEntry Metadata requirements in the PCC-TF, volume 2, Section 5.1.1.1.1 and in PCC_TF-2/Bindings unless otherwise specified below

XDSDocumentEntry.eventCodeList

When the XDS-Lab document is a public health lab report, then the following applies tothe XDSDocumentEntry.eventCodeList

Additionally, if the document contains information about a non-human subject, then the code that indicates what this subject is shall be among those listed in the eventCodeList. Thus, this attribute has been enhanced from the XDS profile from O to R2 in the public health laboratory report case.
