IHE has adopted use of the Standards Knowledge Management Tool for management of the IHE Glossary.

IHE Glossary terms from Final Text and Trial Implementation IHE profiles are maintained in the tool. New terms from Public Comment profiles (or terms that have been modified) are added once the profile is published for Trial Implementation. The published version of the IHE Glossary contains terms as of the publication date of the document. Always refer to the SKMT for the most current list of IHE Glossary terms.

Process for adding/updating IHE Glossary terms in the SKMT

Before a term is added (or updated) to the SKMT, it must receive approval from the Domain Coordination Committee.

The IHE Documentation Specialist will add new or updated terms from IHE Technical Framework supplements to the tool once they have received approval as defined on the Approval Process for Glossary Terms Wiki page
