The Scheduled Workflow Profile (SWF) integrates ordering, scheduling, imaging acquisition, storage and viewing for Radiology exams.

Does workflow scheduling apply to imaging only?

Reserving the term 'Scheduled Workflow' just for imaging was not intended and appears awkward. But, alas, there is no other approach registered yet. In case new lemmata will occur for scheduled workflow in other areas of clinical services, the term shall be specialised to e.g. 'Scheduled Imaging Workflow' instead.Authoriser 16:11, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
