Technical Review of Image Sharing Profile Detailed Proposals

1) XDS-I_Using_XDS.b_Technology - Detailed Proposal: Paul Seifert

• General discussion notes are included in minutes from 2008-10-02 teleconference
• Committee reviewed detailed proposal and added details based on discussion
• Enable voluntary informal testing of XDS-I using XDS.b transactions at Connectathon 2009; no official results to be reported
• Effort Estimate (percentage of available Technical Committee bandwidth): 20%; mainly to resolve controversies about approaches to take and their potential impacts

• Preliminary estimate could not be agreed on; to be addressed on 2008-10-09 tcon

2) XCA-I: TBD

• Use cases and risks are described in sufficient detail to make an accurate assessment of level of effort
• Effort Estimate will be assessed on Oct. 13 tcon if missing details are provided

3) Image Management Enhancements: TBD

• Proposal addresses functions need to implement workflow related functions (eg, error correction) in distributed network environment
• Use cases and risks are described in sufficient detail to make an accurate assessment of level of effort
• Effort Estimate (percentage of available Technical Committee bandwidth): 90%

4) SWFII - Phase 2: Chris Lindop

• Use cases and risks are described in sufficient detail to make an accurate assessment of level of effort
• Chris Lindop to update profile proposal using material from current white paper document
• Effort Estimate will be assessed on Oct. 13 tcon if missing details are provided
