Technical Committee Update

  • Five profile supplements moving to Trial Implementation

International Board Update

  • Incorporation proceeding toward completion
  • Lab domain has lost its secretariat/sponsor
  • Cardiology in the midst of reforming committees: interested parties should contact Dan Roman from ACC
  • Outreach to RO to normalize Fusion profiles is potential cross-domain work item
  • Connectathon Guidelines being developed by Testing and Tools Committee

2008/2009 Trial Implementation Profile Review

  • Considered moving REM and NM Fusion profiles to Final Text; agreed not sufficient testing performed yet.

Plan IHE Webinar Series Radiology Session

  • Scheduled for Thurs, June 25
  • Overview of the domain (8-10 slides - 20 min)
  • What's new this year
  • XDS-I.b (20 min): Paul Seifert willing to develop presentation materials; Kinson Ho may present
  • High level overview of XDS-I generally; drill down on changes in XDS-I.b
  • BIR/PDI Extensions (25 min): Kevin O'Donnell has developed material on these profiles and IRWF, but will be occupied at WG6 meeting
  • May need more detail added on implementation requirements (2-3 slides for each profile): basic laundry list of features specified
  • Chris Lindop to request that David Clunie add the technical approach slides for BIR and PDI extensions
  • Chris Lindop may give presentation; other PDI vendors possible candidates
  • Enhanced DICOM objects profiles (20 min)
  • Important point is to convey use case and level of effort for implementation
  • Bas Revet the likely author; also occupied with DICOM WG6
  • Kees Verduin may be willing to be presenter
  • Cor Loef will reach out to request that they develop and present
  • Allow 5-10 min at end for Q&A
  • Chris Carr will send pointer to template to potential author/presenters and create folder on ftp site for (Webinars_2009)
