  • Another useful tool: forge.furore.com/install
  • Review of HL7 materials and FHIR work mechanisms (e.g. REST)
  • Review of use case
    • We started with working out the use case:
      • Nurse having a multiple patient to visit and perform administrations
      • An cancer patients who have to follow a strict chemo therapy administration.
    • Jose has started with a document. This document will be distributed among the Pharmacy members.
    • We will use SIMPLIFIER.NET to explain our use case.
    • The process is using the medication order ( medication requests) resource and the medication administration resource.
    • The IHE profile is now called D3M.
  • Have to do mapping when a player also uses HMW with a CDA version of the medication administration.

12:30 - 13:30 Lunch

13:30 - 14:30 Planning Committee review of strategy and vision (Juergen)

Remaining topics of Yesterday on ISO

    • ISO 19293 e-Dispense should support:
      • Interoperability with EHR.
      • Reconciliation of medication lists
      • Scoping on the boundaries of e-dispense.

Open Medicine

    • HL7 Europe will include an International ID of the medication.
    • Jose does not participate in HL7 Pharmacy any more. Also working on workflow- (task) resource in FHIR.
    • When do you need a task and when not.
    • Also pushing formulary ( Catalogue) through RCRIM to be able to share Product Master file.
  • Memo of Understanding (MoU) between NCPDP and IHE Pharmacy.
    • Who has to sign the MoU? IHE Pharmacy is not an official body.
    • This would be IHE International, but IHE International has no relationship with NCPDP.
    • We have left certain text out, because we do not have a say about meetings of IHE International. This can be arranged ad hoc.

Update of Webinar slides

    • We should be aware that the audience is international and not necessarily bound to Europe. We should therefore be neutral and not limit our text to European circumstances, such as legislation.

Update of IHE Pharmacy roadmap

    • The update was directly updated in the spreadsheet.

14:30 - 15:30 Medication Documentation

  • Open Medicine and need to reconcile medication
  • Formulary

15:30 - 16:30 Planning of season 2016 2017

  • The TCON is held at a more convenient time slot at 13:00.
    • We should send a message to IHE international to ask if any US participants would like to join.
    • In that case we would accomodate them with a more convenient time slot.
  • First F2F meeting
    • Location: Dublin.
    • Date shift to 18 - 19th October. Jacqueline has to ask whether the Irish could accomodate us.

16:30-17:00 Any other business
