  • Planning Joint meeting with HL7 and ISO WG6
  • Decisions:
  • Nictiz has space for a joint work item IHE/HL7/WG6 for about up to 40 persons
  • Is also willing to provide supply (coffee, etc.)
  • IHE Pharmacy group is in favor of such a joint working group meeting
  • "Joint day" must be at Wednesday 12th
  • because Nictiz hosts HL7 Pharmacy day at 13th and 14th, but in another location
  • Nictiz offers that ISO WG6 is hosted also at Thursday 13th, if WG6 prefers to do so (in Den Haag)
  • Proposal for schedule:
  • (1) 2 days IHE Pharmacy only: Monday 10th/Tuesday 11th / Joint: Wednesday 12th
  • (2) 1 day IHE Pharmacy only: Tuesday 11th / Joint: Wednesday 12th

  • Michael: Mapping of HL7 Pharmacy Message Types information elements to suitable CDA R2 information elements
  • Samples:
  • IHE: Received a PRE and DIS sample
  • HL7: Normative Edition 2012
  • Mapping was done by a self-made XSLT
  • Experiment: Convert a PRE into a HL7v3 "Order fulfillment message" (PORX_IN011070UV01)
  • Outcome:
  • Successful conversion of PRE to HL7v3 "Order fulfillment message" so far (about 80%)
  • Some elements could not have been converted, because they are related to a "document" and therefore there is no element in a message
  • The core of the information was successfully converted so far
  • Conclusion
  • We suppose that the content PRE to messaging is equivalent -> Part 1 of evaluation of a CMPD.b (Message based CMPD) is completed
  • Work-item "Eval_CMPD.b" new leader: Michael

  • CP will be put on agenda for TCon at May 2th, 2013 for approval


16:30 - 17:00 Medication catalog (e.g. Formulary) (Simon, Jose)

  • Review of current version of Simon's document
  • A whitepaper has been written by Simon and Jose. Jacqueline and Leonidas have volunteered to review the document and propose new use cases. Simon will extend the current work with substitution formulary.


17:30 - 18:00 Distribution and supply of items (Marc, Simon)

  • The material for distribution and supply has been gathered, but need to be sorted out. Marc will sum up the material and we will discuss the material in the next session.
