Medication lists

vaccinagion

Belgium is working with profile on vaccins. New work item. Also Switzerland but this will be CDA. With Child Health services. Pediatrics.


Zwitserland has had a projectathon. Medication list will be the focus. Need to clear up the models of CDA and FHIR. Plan it for the October session. Gazelle tools need to be able to validate FHIR as well as CDA. EPR should support both. The target is to go live mid 2021 in certain Cantons. ( like Geneva). Change proposals in the maintenance. One new transaction to be introduced. ( almost like Pharm-1). Biggest part of the work is Pharm-5. ( HMD instead of XDS).


Also Medication list in Belgium. HL7 Belgium.

Supply

This will be the main work item for the period 2020-2021 FHIR resources have been proposed to HL7 ( O&O). These resources are represnting the logical model. ( this is a abstract model). This has been done for an inventory report. This could lead to a new FHIR resource.


This problem has been proposed as a JIC ( joint initiative council) issue about the modelling of a product. There are different models for product. The directors will come with a proposal for the approach of this issue.

Esther has discussed this topic with Christian and he has introduced Marco Schwarzenbach. GDSN. This is a network to exchange product information.

We will have a FHIR implementation as soon as this issue is solvesd: There is already a draft for the implemenation guide. Planning is july 2021 as target date.

It will cover the 3 transactions. IHE will add the workflow schema into the FHIR IG.
