This will be the main work item for the period 2020-2021 FHIR resources have been proposed to HL7 ( O&O). These resources are represnting the logical model. ( this is a abstract model). This has been done for an inventory report. This could lead to a new FHIR resource.
This problem has been proposed as a JIC ( joint initiative council) issue about the modelling of a product.
There are different models for product. The directors will come with a proposal for the approach of this issue.
