Minutes
- 1st hour
- Agenda review
- Feedback on APSR example and specimen section
- Some rendering issues with the example – Riki to send her feedback to Francois and Gunter
- Use eCC as a means to create content to promote the adoption of APSR 2.0
- Add example to the wiki page
- Looking for feedback from vendors on starting to test
- Outreach to vendors in Germany
- Interoperability Council in Germany meeting is tomorrow
- French vendors are smaller companies
- Would be good to use APSR 2.0 as a basis for re-design of Pathology LIS
- Agenda items for May F2F
- SET
- LCC
- LSH
- APSR 2.0
- White paper
- New release of TF based on CRs (just a few) – to be published in June 2017
- Digital Pathology workflow – Raj will reach out to at least get a status update
- Transfusion medicine workflow
- Remote participation will be provided by JAHIS
- SNOMED CT candidate concepts for the IHE free subset for free use in the standard for publication
- Example DICOM has MOU for 7,300 terms that systems can use
- Also being discussed for HL7 International
- Also with IHE International – reactivated now, so
- for PaLM Francois started collecting list of concepts
- needs to be a flat list (no relationships / hierarchies can be used)
- Have these areas covered:
- blood group results
- laterality of anatomic site
- qualitative lab results
- some descriptors about type of diagnosis / type of tests
- Micro is too big to add (>55k)
- Clinical information that pathologists expect as part of orders
- Pregnancy status, chronic diseases, travel, treatment…
- Suggested new domains:
- Scott Campbell’s list harmonized for dealing with genomic related – these will be in NM ref set – are currently using the University of Nebraska namespace – keep this for the later version UNTIL they are in the core release of SNOMED CT
- Specimen terms (at least the ones we have crossmapped from HL70487 – check with HTA if they are working on it ; start with these codes (there is some that still have to be updated / added will add those after – still reviewing that) see: http://build.fhir.org/conceptmap-example-specimen-type.html
- In 2009 we published a paper – "Standards to Support Information Systems Integration in Anatomic Pathology" – It can be found here:[[1]]
- See Raj’s slides
- Support digital AP workflow into the LIS
- Review the diagram and
- Invite European vendors involved in digital pathology and participate at F2F in May
- Aspects of imaging – glass slide / gross pathology
- Include meta data etc
- Have great examples in Sweden’s set up
- 2nd hour:
- SET update (Alessandro): Alessandro will broadcast the new draft next week.
Next meeting: 12 April 2017 at 0800 (central time zone)
