Overview

The IHE PCD Technical Framework is composed of a set of profiles that address specific integration scenarios that include at least one regulated medical device (per the PCD Charter).

Current Framework Status

The current PCD technical framework for Trial Implementation is is rev. 1.2, September 30, 2010.

2011-03-21 Final Text versions of Technical Framework volume 1 (ftp://ftp.ihe.net/Patient_Care_Devices/TechnicalFrameworkFinalText/IHE_PCD_TF_Vol1_FT_2010-11-22Draft.doc)

PCD Transaction Map

Many of the PCD Profiles include transactions, specified in the Technical Framework Volume 2 Transactions, which are allocated on a domain basis. This table identifies the currently allocated transactions and the profiles to which they belong:
