HIMSS has virtual conference items, a SPOK rep will be on the call today. Could be their opportunity. Discussed consolidating with SDPi group and moving to some FHIR work. The meeting will go to two hours combining the two groups. Some progress on regulatory issues, companies will involve their regulatory staff. Good chance of a live European demo. May have a chance for HIMSS Europe – rescheduled for September. 7. Ballots - Non currently 8. TC Action Item Review - 196 - No progress, limited opportunity right now, no HL7 meetings until September. Move to September. - 202 – Will likely be kicked out to September because of COVID-19 10. Other Business - 'Face to Face' Agenda prep underway DEV Domain F2F Apr 21-24, 2020 Webex Morning meetings Wed-Fri April 22-24 - Subdomain transactions - Will be separate from PCD with their own OIDs. - Discussed sending patient data with two patients on a single vent. - John Garguilo - Voluntary effort to have FDA approvals based on standards compliance. If we can get them to adopt IEEE 11073 and IHE, it could help our effort. Fairly extensive discussion of what could be used, especially communication. - FDA had a series of meetings regarding Body Area Networks. John G recorded a session for them to describe NIST’s work, he plugged IHE messaging heavily. Useful to get the word out. 11.
