Balloted Aug and Sept, participated in FIHR connectathon, will do so in January as well. Better aligned resources with what's been done. Have mtg/session in San Antonio to discuss FIHR, will outline topics. In Jan or so, can have some white paper presentation and discussion. Don't need google group/work group yet. Review white paper and convene Work group in Feb. -Jeff – Review white paper intent. Suggest document before group. Will this dilute existing PCD work or confuse participants? - Todd – Not a lot of volunteers yet, White paper provides something concrete for them to see. Makes sense to be ahead of discussion. The white paper will help inform dialog. Should be ready for good discussion at spring face to face. This week hope to have draft of one of the two trial implementations. It will need to comply with new template. LS meeting this week, always looking for volunteers Issue with Pump transaction repetition character – John G - IPEC identified some settings. Question on pump settings. When validating through NIST tools, receivew some errors. Discussed how to define in HL7 and OBX, currently the NIST tool rejects those messages. - OBX5 – required. If a need to repeat enumerations, need to change obx 5 to 1,* from 1.1 or repeat whole segment. Agree, disagree, comments? - Monroe – OBX8 is 0,*, repeating component or field. Prefer one obx with repeated fields. - Paul Schluter – Terribly inefficient, Suggest reviewing Continua guide, they've been doing it this way for quite a while. Need to allow this for bit flags. Add ^ into fields will help (right after tilde). Change cardinality of OBX5 to 1..*. Need to ensure we're accomodating the intent. - Al – this should work for their needs in the pump mode 'set' - The highlighted text would work for Al and Continua. - Paul Schluter displayed examples from continua - Need a CP to change cardinality of OBX5. - Side topic – DEC OBX8 is inconsistent between TF and profiles. CP will need to address this as well. Update to 0,,* in all instances. U vs L in PID 5.7; clarify in the TF - Some confusion on actual value, patient name – typecode. Working with an ADT system, needs to be l for legal and u for unknown. Need to call out in test case or allow for both. Decided to make both legal for now. No one uses ADT for now. But some use provided info as ADT. Manny – either acceptable. Action item for Manny – make this clear in test case or create multiple tests. Want to add more tests requiring U or L. Would also need to add in PCD-01. Put in spreadsheet – could lead to additional tests. If hand entered, would need to be an 'L' as well. Manny announcements - Any CPs that affect Connectathon need to go out very soon. - Need some things, listed in yesterday's Connectathon meeting.
