3. Work Items for TC Consideration:

ITI/PCD Device Management WP (Cybersecurity): Geoff Pascoe led the discussion on the proposal. The proposal is due in January for the ITI meeting in February and will consider this WP proposal at their winter meeting. The Spring meeting (April) will move the document to public comment and will be finalized at ITI’s Summer meeting (July). This proposal, with detailed description of scope and resources, will become available to the PCD.
Pharmacy Domain Clinical Integration WP: Todd reviewed discussions which has led to mapping most of the data between the two domains. He proposed that the content of the Detailed Proposal have additional information but need not have a project plan with detailed description of scope and resources. The consensus is to include a timetable that will describe the contributions of the two domains. Ken asked if there are others interested in working on this. Erin offered to assist.
TF Implications:
- OID Assignments: Todd indicated that definitions are an important element of the restructuring. He asked how OIDs will be included and resolved in the revision. John Garguilo responded that he will present a proposal for use of OIDs to identify a variety of PCD documents, actors, profiles, etc. Later in the meeting Todd and John Garguilo discussed the placement of the OID definition in the various TF volumes, with the overview in volume 1.
- TF Graphics Describing the Proposed TF Structure: Todd asked if an earlier concept was available. No one recalled the structure.
Device Specializations: Todd plans to have this available soon. The General Device Specializations will be a constrained value set. John Garguilo indicated this has implications for the OIDs, using OIDS as the link to the detail.
Cross Enterprise TeleHomeMonitoring: The PCC is meeting on this subject. PCD’s involvement has not been discussed.
Enterprise ACM: There doesn’t appear to be much interest in ITI. It will be inactive.
MEM CMMS: A revised proposal is in the works.

Ballot on the Detailed Proposals: Next week will be a Joint PC/TC meeting with emphasis on the proposals which will then go to ballot.

4. Cycle 6 Workitems:

ADQ and WCM documents have been updated and posted to the ftp site.
PCIM is consolidating the materials and next week’s meeting will focus on Robert Flander’s revised version (Tuesday at 10 am ET).

5. Deferred.

6. Connectathon and HIMSS12: John Garguilo indicated IPEC issues should be resolved quickly. Manny indicated that Virtual/Internet testing for the Connectathon is strongly encouraged and should be completed by the 23rd. Testing for the Showcase is directed by the TPCs.

7. FDA: Ken indicated that responses have been sent.

8. Action Items: Deferred.

9. Meetings: The next meetings are a joint PC/TC meeting followed by a PC meeting and then a TC meeting the first week of January, the week before the Connectathon.

10. Additional Business: Ken indicated that defining body sites for rSO2 is underway, using OBX-20 and local identifiers/tables. Paul, however, believes this may not be good science. He found some earlier efforts. 11073 has some sites for the head, SNOMED has baby abdominal sites, and there may be others. Discussion will continue to optimize the solution.
