Laboratory Strategic Priorities

- Continue to strengthen our relationship with the domain’s sponsor, the College of American Pathologists (CAP). We want to leverage CAP outreach resources to improve our visibility and influence on US laboratory vendor systems and identify new volunteers that will provide leadership in IHE Lab.
- This year, IHE Lab and IICC are releasing the LAW Supplement. This new profile will require deployment support and on-going maintenance activity to drive the industry beyond trial implementation / Connectathon testing and towards significant industry adoption.
- HL7 SDWG is continuing on a path towards release 2.1 or 3.0 of CDA. IHE Lab will continue to participate in this ongoing effort and reconcile this release with our well received XD-LAB profile.
