Join an IHE Committee
Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) is an organization dedicated to enabling seamless and secure access to health information whenever and wherever needed. IHE improves healthcare by providing specifications, tools and services for interoperability. IHE engages clinicians, health authorities, industry, and users to develop, test, and implement standards-based solutions to vital health information needs.
A list of IHE domain committees and links to their respective home pages is available here. Participation in these committees is open to representatives of all stakeholders interested in healthcare IT and interoperability. Each domain page includes a description of its area of interest. Each page also include a link you can follow to request to join its committee email distribution lists. By joining, you will receive updates concerning teleconferences, meetings and any distributed materials. (Note that these distribution lists use Google Groups and require you to log in using a Google account.)
Working documents and information on ongoing committee activities are available on each domain's page on wiki.ihe.net. IHE Domains work in annual cycles to develop and maintain their technical framework. Key dates in this year’s cycle for the Radiology domain are posted on its main page on the wiki.
