- Looking for 3rd party collaborator to replace evolving relationship with INRIA
- INRIA sponsorship was scheduled to end at end of 2011
- Eric has negotiated extension of funding; needs to negotiate details of relationship for overseeing Connectathon and developing tools, which could be:
- Contract with outside organization - Should be experienced and deeply invested in IHE
- Development and organization team under IHE Europe leadership
- Form new organization with IHE Europe as part of leadership to organize Connectathon for IHE Europe (and possibly other national/regional deployment committees or other clients)
- Contracting with other connectivity testing organization (eg, ETSI)
- It would be preferable not to lose the knowledge base of Eric's team regarding Gazelle and Connectathon management
- Any contracts with outside organizations might stipulate that they use and develop Gazelle
- Business plan will be discussed at meeting in Brussels, Dec. 17
