• Connectathon Guidelines

• Administrative Requirements for Implementation:

• Establish process for announcement that provides guidance on information required (template) and produces record of communication

• Action Item: Chris Carr to develop announcement template

• Need to provide more specific information on approval role of Testing and Tools Committee and Board
• Need to provide specific guidance on details of reporting test results for incorporation into results database

• Action Item: Testing and Tools Committee to review Guidelines document and provide any final comments by next Teleconference (Sept. 27)

• Vote on approval for next call and present as motion for IHE Intl Board approval on its October tcon

• Proposed recognition of IHE Korea Connectathon

• Made advance announcements to Testing and Tools and Board
• Todd Cooper and Manny Furst acted in role of Connectathon Managers; used test scripts from PCD North America

• Tests were used largely as developed without specific accommodation needed for mix of participants present

• NIST provided tooling for advanced testing
• Connectathon focused on limited set of PCD profiles - PCD01 over Web Services (published for Trial Implementation)
• Event held Monday-Wednesday at Kyungpook Univ in Daegu; about 6 companies with 7 systems (4 sending, 3 receiving)
• Results were recorded by hand in spreadsheet
• Motion to be presented to IHE International Board: Recognize results of IHE Korea Connectathon in results database

• Motion approved unanimously by Testing and Tools Committee members present

• Communication with IHE China about Connectathon publications, plans
• Investigate details of IHE Japan testing event scheduled for October
• Eye Care to send copy of its call for participation
• Steve Moore to distribute guidelines on submitting test results data

• Connectathon Manager Training Event

• Share agenda with Testing and Tools Committee
• Establish list of Recognized Project Managers

• "Grandfather" list: gather list of experienced project managers from domains and deployment committees

• Action Item: Chris Carr to develop list for formal approval by Testing and Tools

• Bill Majurski, Steve Moore and Eric Poiseau will meet this week during training event

• Focus on simulator discussions
• Debugging of Gazelle registration process going on in preparation for North American Connectathon
• Indications that NIST may re-issue withdrawn test tools RFPs
