1) IHE Korea Connectathon

• Todd Cooper and Dr. Sungkee Lee presented IHE Korea's request to have its planned testing eventrecognized as an IHE Connectathon
• Scope of testing limited to a single PCD profile, DEC, showing new Web services communication layer
• Joint effort with Continua
• Preparation for Demonstration at Asia-Pac meeting (Oct.)
• Testing dates:
• Call for participants to go out by May 1
• Estimate 12-15 participants

This will be the 4th IHE-RO Connectathon, previous ones having been held in 2007, 2008, and 2009. IHE-RO Connectathons generally have 10–15 vendors present testing 12–20 products. Bruce Curran has been the Connectathon and Technical Project Manager for all previous IHE-RO Connectathons as well as coordinator of the monitors. Walter Bosch and Prabhakar Tripuranemi have been monitors at all previous Connectathons, while Lakshmi Santanam and Julio Almansa participated as monitors at the 2009 Connectathon.

Test results are reviewed by the monitors at the end of each day and at the completion of the Connectathon. Results are presented to and approved by the IHE-RO Technical Committee following the Connectathon.

3) Connectathon Manager Training Events

• June 7-9 Training event in Paris

• Bill Majurski, Steve Moore and Eric Poiseau planned faculty
• Need 3 organizations participating to go ahead
• May 7 as registration drop dead date: need to allow time to cancel international air fare
• Registration will be through direct connection with coordinator
