- It would be advantageous to make this an IHE-wide effort
- Defining the structure of the registry is a critical question
- Committee members can contact Wendy Scharber of QRPH committee to add their names to task force
- Action Item: Chris Carr to invite Wendy Scharber and Wendy Blumenthal to join next DCC call for discussion of template libraries and publication process

Documentation, Websites and Public Information
- Schedule teleconference to plan template review, author training and training materials update
- Documentation Work Group tcon set for Thursday, Dec. 9, 10-11am CST
- Advanced Diagramming Methods (UML, BPEL, etc.) in Technical Framework Documents: Do we need rules, processes around non-Word based diagram formats
- QRPH has proposed using advanced diagramming in the RPE profile to describe BPEL transactions; requires additional tool and expertise and is not editable in MS-Word format
- ITI uses modified HL7 CDA class diagrams for some profiles; dependent on one committee member with expertise and appropriate tool
- Special diagrams often allowed in white papers
- There may be cases where it is worth living with the additional complexity of process, because it makes authoring easier and diagrams more useful and readable
- Need to develop some guidance on what is allowable and process to be followed
- Author should identify source, tool used and provide original file for subsequent editing
- May need to provide rationale and ask for approval for new tools being used
- Action Item: Mary Jungers to develop form to gather information on advanced diagrams from authors
