Domain Announcements

1. Domain Milestone Dates

• ITI Supplements published for public comment; comments due June 24

• Lab Face-to-face scheduled: Sept. 30 - Oct. 2 in Chicago (location tbd)

• ITI, PCC, QRPH: Co-chair elections scheduled for July

• Cardiology: Face-to-face to develop TI versions of three profiles; June 7-10 in Milwaukee

Domain Coordination Issues

1. ITI Cross-domain outreach process

2. HL7 Subgroup

• ITI published CP 211 in ballot, which addresses issues that subgroup was working on and that need to be addressed by broader group of HL7 experts

• Action Item: All other domain Technical Committees should review the CP because it has impact on all profiles that use HL7 messages related to patient management (May 17 message to Domain Coord Cmte); June 11 deadline for responses
• Action Item: Chris Carr to send reminder message that input is due by June 11; (CP attached to May 17 email)

Documentation, Websites and Public Information

• HIMSS 11 IHE Presentations

• Keith Boone and John Donnelly have submitted proposals for IHE presentations in the program of HIMSS sessions

• Experiences Implementing IHE Profiles in the Real World - Jamie Ferguson and John DeStefano
• IHE Profiles for Meaningful Use: Dr. Brody and John Donnelly; looking for another clinician to take part

• MarComm issues: recruiting participants

• Start regular schedule of ihenews blasts: set schedule and submission process
• Action Item: Domains requested to designate someone to join monthly call; take responsibility for news and announcements related to domain activities; co-chairs can send announcement messages to Celina Roth or Marcomm list

• Scheduling of initial set of Webinars nearly completed
• Action Item: Domain Planning Cmte Co-chairs to confirm dates and develop list of presenters

• Document Publication Schedule

• Editing process: avoid changing final text quoted in supplement documents

• Add editorial review of final text Technical Frameworks to make proofreading/editorial revisions

• Use change tracking; work section by section; communicate with co-chairs/authors to determine when CPs may be necessary to flag changes
• ITI has time scheduled to integrate supplements and CPs into final text TFs starting June 17; document specialist needs to review in advance or as part of final pre-publication review

• Action Item: Chris Carr will invite Mary Jungers to take part in June 8 DCC tcon

• Profile Library Review

• Action Item: Planning Committee chairs to review list and add/update profiles in their domains
• Action Item: Co-chairs to review Profile Overview Template and provide comments on how it might be simplified to encourage completion of profiles descriptions
