Off-line Image Review (reference image vs. delivery image)

Actors: Delivery Imaging System, Offline Review System; Archive

  • 2D/2D – [Delivery Imaging System] acquires and stores setup images and Spatial Registration in archive; [Offline Review System] retrieves patient setup DRRs, setup images, Spatial Registration(s), RT Plan from archive; compares, displays, and stores correction transformation in archive
  • 3D/3D – [Delivery Imaging System] acquires and stores verification CT and Spatial Registration in archive; [Offline Review System] retrieves planning CT, verification CT(s), Spatial Registration(s), RTSS, RT Plan, (and RT Dose?) from archive; compares, displays, and stores correction transformation in archive
  • 3D/2D – [Delivery Imaging System] acquires and stores setup images and Spatial Registration in archive; [Offline Review System] retrieves setup images, planning CT, Spatial Registration(s), RTSS, RT Plan, (and RT Dose?) from archive; compares, displays, and stores correction transformation in archive


  • Match anatomy (2D) – curve module
  • Maintain presentation context, e.g., ROI(s) to display (3D), region used for (automated) registration
  • Storage of correction transformation
  • Automated vs. manual registration
