  • Membership details: Numbers of members per category, membership model (categories, fees)


IHE World Summit

  • Discussion on next instance
  • Targeted year: 2019
  • Recommendation: minimum gap between World Summits: 18 months
  • Options:
  • Europe, Swiss eHealth Summit, Sep 2018, Switzerland
  • Europe, HIMSS Turkey, Oct 2018, Istanbul, Turkey
  • Asia, HIMSS AsiaPac18 Australia, 5-7 Nov 2018, Brisbane, Australia
  • Middle East, UAE eHealth Week, 3-5 Dec 2018, Dubai & Abu Dhabi, UAE
  • UK, UK eHealth Week, May 2019, London, UK
  • Middle East, HIMSS Saudi Arabia, April 2019, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Downside: Visa problem, few other countries would join
  • Europe, HIMSS Europe19, May 2019, Barcelona, Spain
  • Downside: Europe is quite satisfied with other IHE events (IHE EU CAT, ...)

  • IHE Services starts a huge project with Gabon, supported by World Bank, starting in 2018 -> could be an option for that region (providing that the project partners with us)


IHE Certified Professional Program

  • Status
  • Currently in contract making phase
  • There is agreement that this program is very important and should be set up asap


Any other business

  • Information on other section initiatives: Energy, Publishing, Agriculture (Tie Tjee)
  • Other section initiatives are very much present at the Netherlands Interoperability event, where the IHE-EU CAT is part of
  • Date: 16.-20.04.2018
  • Location: Den Haag, The Netherlands
  • Other sections are:
  • Energy (lead by Austria)
  • Project name: IES "Integrating the Energy Sector" (applying IHE methodology in Energy sector)
  • Publishing (brought by Germany)
  • Agriculture (brought by European Commission)
