• Clarification needed for:

• What means "members". Are this 6 persons board members or the total amount of members
• Please add status and more information (e.g. which IHE profiles, contact, ...) to the list deployment projects (Essex HIE, Lancashire LPRES, Dorset -Dorset Care Record)

• Decision: Apart of this clarifications the report is approved

World Summit 2017

• Discussion about region and location (Decision required!!!)

• HIMSS Asia Pacific offered us to do it in conjunction with the HIMSS AsiaPac conference in Singapore.

• Details known so far

• HIMSS AsiaPac and HIMSS International seem to be very interested to go for this event

• They offer full support in organizing
• They check offering the same model like in Amsterdam for taking financial risk

• We already said, that this is mandatory for us, otherwise to risky

• They offer to help finding participants
• They offer to help finding speakers and panelists

• HIMSS is aware about the problems of holding this event in that region and offers full support to govern that

• HIMSS has worked hard on building up relationships to Asian governments and it's now quite mature
• This could be leveraged for the summit

• Risks:

• Participation of EU and US might be low
• Participation might be low at all (financial risk for HIMSS, but image risk for IHE)

• HIMSS AsiaPac has already a high number of participants

• Speakers and Panelists perhaps harder to find. Needs Asian program planning team.

• Asian IHE orgs must be activated, plus eventually foreign persons out of HIMSS connections

• Program style must be changed perhaps and include more "IHE education" and less panels
• Asian IHE orgs are still quite distinct, can we really activate them sufficiently?

• Benefits:

• Prominent IHE event in that region for the first time
• Asia region needs IHE "energy" -> this is a good opportunity, region is prepared, time is right now!
• Singapore is a "neutral" point in Asia, where everyone can go

• Michio said that Japanese like to go to Singapore

• Decisions

• An email will be drafted for inviting IHE Australia, China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan to the program planning committee

• Drafted by Jürgen, Mike, Charles and Chris, sent out by GDC co-chairs with IHE Intl. Co-Chairs in CC
• Next steps decided after reaction of those Deployment Committees

• HIMSS AsiaPac will be informed about this step (Jürgen)

• It's critical for the success of the event to have our IHE orgs on board
