IHE Sweden report

• Status of founding IHE Sweden by Fredrik Linden

• Ok for IHE International Membership is given
• About 40 people of 30 organizations are already assembled
• Decision by the sponsors for budget and secretary expected in March

• SALAR (Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions) = governmental association
• Swedish Medtech = Organization provided by and for vendors

• F2F meeting planned for formal founding, 5-7 April 2016

• Positive: A number of procurements are in progress in Sweden requiring IHE profiles

• Important Swedish Medtech project (gov funded) also contains IHE profiles

• Laying a standards foundation for eHealth in Sweden
• Will provide input to future e-Health project of the Swedish regions

• GDC F2F working group meeting in conjunction to WS?

• The question is, if IHE International Board holds a "Strategic Retreat" on Sun/Mon, because this would conflict with such a meeting. In this case, we should not hold it.
• Chris: Not decided yet, but the chances that there will be a Strategic Retreat are high
• Decision postponed
