1. Patent Disclosure Policy, Procedures and Materials
- Chris Carr presented materials related to the process for announcing the patent disclosure policy at committee meetings and gathering and posting disclosures
- Process requires action by committee co-chairs and committee secretaries
- Materials are linked to Patent Disclosure Process Wiki page
- Action Item: Chris Carr will complete and distribute package of disclosure materials for review by sponsors, as well as IHE Board
2. Recruitment of Committee Participants for Upcoming Development Cycle
- The time for starting the next cycle of profile developments is coming in most domains
- Radiology domain, which will issue call for new profile proposals in August, is creating package of materials to recruit committee members
- Action Item: Chris Carr will distribute for review and comment
3. Marketing and Communications Committee
- Lisa Spellman and Celina Roth reviewed mission and regular process of MarComm Committee; invited sponsor organizations to contribute participants
- Chris Carr pointed out that marketing personnel from participating companies are key recruiting targets for this activity
- Major project for MarComm is solicitation and publication of User Success Stories
- Chris Carr has published a Template for Success Stories that MarComm will review and update
- Ask for invitation to join MarComm Cmte distribution list at http://groups.google.com/group/ihe-intl-marcomm
- Next monthly call for MarComm Cmte is Weds, July 8, 9:00-10:00am CT
4. Communication with General IHE Membership and Sponsor Organization Membership
- MarComm Cmte sets the topics for a monthly communication to the general IHE distribution list (ihenews@ihe.net)
- Secretaries and other domain reps are welcome to add items on the Timeline topics timeline
- Some of the items sent through ihenews are of general interest across domains; they will be forwarded to the secretaries for distribution to the membership of the sponsoring organizations they represent
5. Incorporation Update
- Chris Carr reported that the process of incorporating IHE International is approaching completion
- Next step for IHE Board secretary is to solicit mailing address from Board members and consent to be listed as initial directors on articles of incorporation
