Mission Statement

Brief statement of the clinical or operational domain and set of issues the domain addresses.

History

The Devices Domain (DEV) was created in 2019 as an expansion of the original Patient Care Device Domain. Along with regulated Patient Care Device, DEV now includes Personal Connected Health (PCH) and the Device Point-of-Care Interoperability (DPi). These three groups are mostly autonomous sub-domains with the Devices Domain.

For Patient Care Device (PCD), the sponsors are:

DEV has an overall Guidance Committee, consisting of representatives from each Sub-Domain’s Planning and Technical Committees.

Additionally, each Sub-Domain has it’s own Planning and Technical Committees
