:Charles is adding LAAO and Mitral Clip procedures to CPN. There was a discussion about some of the clinical techniques used in the procedure. The clinical approach may impact the billing and coding aspects. We may not need one master post-coordinated code, as an other procedures due to side effects or secondary to the procedure. If procedure sequelae occur, any surgical intervention would require a separate note, and billing instance. There are a few SNOMED codes that are in question, and Charles Thomas has reached out for clarification. He will also develop and example document to see how it would be modeled.

CPN Extensions - Charles Thomas (15 mins)
Charles is adding LAAO and Mitral Clip procedures to CPN. There was a discussion about some of the clinical techniques used in the procedure. The clinical approach may impact the billing and coding aspects. We may not need one master post-coordinated code, as an other procedures due to side effects or secondary to the procedure.
