Comment on Last Week's Call

Jimmy Tcheng's contributions were very positive and agrees with the direction the work the Technical Committee is taking. He's willing to contribute to the Face to Face meeting in late April.

Art Decor Update

Everyone who requested an Art Decor account should have received an e-mail regarding the creation of your account. If you have not, please contact Chris Melo. A demo project, Consolidated-CRC Templates has been created for a test drive. There are some questions about the templates, e.g. should we create a template or pull a C-CDA into the tool to harmonize EPRC-IE and CRC. The smart money is on the latter approach. Next week we'll have a a more robust set of templates installed to allow the real work to begin. Volunteers would be appreciated as the work begins. A follow-up call with Kai will be scheduled to understand more about the ins and outs of Art Decor.

Review of differences of C-CDA R2.1 vs R1.1

We'll defer this topic at this time, the Art Decor tool should help us with the review of templates. Once we have a better grasp of how to use the software.

Update on Clinical Decision Support impacts (e.g. AUC)

With regards to Procedures and Procedure Components if we were consolidating with EPRC the addition to the Procedure Indications table. It becomes complex when diagnostic procedures, such as CT or MR Angiography, it becomes very complex. We want to make sure that we include Appropriate Use Criteria [AUC]. The ACC will be updating this as MACRA continues to evolve. Twenty cardiology measures are included within the MACRA framework. There is no concrete timeline for the updates to issued.

IHE-Japan Updates

IVI and CP - There are some LOINC codes that are missing from the IVI profile. These have been submitted to LOINC for creation. There shoudl be some answer provided by April or May. IHE-Japan has also made progress on the CRC Echo report, and will provide it as a template for Charles Thomas to use. They are also working on Nuclear Medicine as well as the Stress EKG. The CP process will take place through March 31st and will be presented to IHE Tech Face to Face meeting in late April.
