Update

Progress of Art Décor
  • Art décor update- CM discussed with Kai Heitmann, there are 2 art décor servers out there, including an IHE Europe server for this that ties into Gazelle and Connectathon testing once completed, so suggest use this. CM sent email to Eric Poiseau to get accounts – waiting to hear back.
  • There is a listserv for technical questions on Art-Decor. CM suggested separate calls to have art décor help us know what we need to do, like tips.
  • IHE Pharmacy domain is also working on a profile using Art-Decor. CM will contact them and communicate with them. Interested in combining resources and getting a core IHE team that understands the Art Décor tooling.
  • If we get too bogged down the contingency plan is to continue to use Microsoft Word. We’ll look for decision on this by Feb 1.
OID Registry
  • During the recent Domain coordination committee, it was identified that IHE maintains the IHE OID namespace (see http://wiki.ihe.net/index.php/OID_Registration for a list of all the OIDs of the IHE domains. Each IHE domain manages its own namespace under the root OID designated for IHE domain name spaces. Cardiology needs to create the list of all OIDs used/assigned for the cardiology profiles, including for the CDA content modules.
  • CM created an FTP folder (ftp://ftp.ihe.net/Cardio/OID%20registry/) for managing the ID lists as Excel files. There is one file that is the current published list of OIDs and archived files of previously published OID lists. If want to publish in wiki, can do later.
  • Assigned OID sub-trees for RCS-C and RCS-EP content profile since those efforts opted not to follow the same OID assignment methods but wanted manage their their own OID use without conflicting with existing assigned OIDs.
  • DM asked if there was a process or request process for OIDs. CM: The OID development process or request process is that IHE assigns them per domain. IHE Card assigns the OIDs.
  • If have a new profile and need a new OID, IHE Cardiology will assign it.
Project Plan
  • Discussion of CIRC and CRC and value of aligning. AS had pointed out in preliminary assessment that they may be very different. CM suggested possibly deferring this work for now and look at possibility of aligning cardiac diagnostic exam content profile with radiology diagnostic imaging reports, possibly as a cooperative effort between cardiology and radiology, and also to align with the recently approved new version of DICOM Part 3.20 – Mapping DICOM SR to HL7 CDA for Imaging Reports. IHE RAD considered creating CDA content profile again this year, so there is some interest in the IHE RAD community. NG expressed concern that no one is using the CIRC so that work may not be useful. AS pointed out the diagnostic cath differ in that they use a number of measurements while radiology focuses on images and notations regarding the images themselves. AP pointed out these reports drive appropriate use of procedures, much emphasis on appropriate use with imaging. Will require assessment of how well CRC aligns with diagnostic imaging. In past found more consistency between procedure notes and diagnostic cath rather than diagnostic imaging. However there is more consistency in documentation now than in the past.
  • NG emphasized the timeline we are working towards. CM noted that the priorities are; (1) harmonize CRC with EPRC-IE, (2) update based on C-CDA R2.1 (from C-CDA R1.1) and (3) stretch goal: harmonize with CIRC. So any work of harmonizing with DICOM or IHE RAD will be deferred until later.
