Agenda
- Overview of Cath Report (Nick Gawrit)
- Nick gave an overview of the mapping and documentation work of the cath report sections that he and chris had been doing to date.
- A lot of progress has been made and the current WIP has been uploaded to the IHE ftp site.
- Discussion highlights included:
- We should optimize the document organization around the style of the cath report produced by the cath Physician(s), e.g. by co-locating Procedures, equipment and findings in the CDA.
- The prototype cath report provided in January bt Dr. Tcheng provides good guidance on this.
- We need to get a sharp distinction between Procedures ( tasks that are done on a patient) versus Findings (medical interpretation, or observations about a patient's condition as a result of those procedures).
- Dr. Tcheng has offered to provide the ACC data dictionary as guidance here.
- In the header, it should be possible to support having multiple authors for the document – one for the diagnostic cath and one for the PCI.
- There should also be allowance to specify multiple authenticators for the content of the document.
- Chris has updated the header to include multiple authenticators (in addition to the single legal authenticator), and confirmed that there are already multiple authors allowed.
- We should optimize the document organization around the style of the cath report produced by the cath Physician(s), e.g. by co-locating Procedures, equipment and findings in the CDA.
