CP Ballot:
This has been officially submitted to the Tech and Planning Committees. Voting is open until 12/18/2015. So far one completed ballot has been returned. Sending the ballot to the Planning Committee was intended for communication of the general process and not for their official vote as this owned by the TC.
Structural Heart Discussion:
  • Update of terminology within the technical framework to better represent the intent of the TAVR procedure.
  • A thorough discussion of Severity Observations led to the conclusion that this process will require further refinements. This may require input from ACC NCDR staff as guidance and classification as they have addressed similar structures in other registries. This also may need to be reviewed for other data elements as well.
  • Charles Thomas will place relevant documents for review by the committee in the Structural Heart folder of the FTP site.
