- Adds flexibility for range of Web-based devices to gain access to imaging information using simple protocols (JSON/REST)
Shared Study Management (SSM) - VNA Study Management - Proposal
- Allows management (eg, post-processing, reference to reports) of shared archive copy of imaging dataset by multiple users
- Supported by Canada Health infoWay
REM for Radiopharmaceutical Imaging - Proposal
- Expands information gathering and analysis enabled by REM profile to Nuclear Medicine
Clinical Decision Support for Radiology (CDS-R) - Proposal
- Automates communication of appropriateness score as part of order, medical record, radiology report(?) and billing information; in response to CMS mandate to include score in order to receive reimbursement
- Needs to be coordinated with ACR and HL7 Clinical Decision Support group
- Availability of proposed underlying standard (HL7 FHIR--under development currently) is a risk for timing of publication and implementation of profile
- Will decide whether profile also Needs to accommodate model of using outside CDS engine, as well as incorporting
