Minutes
Mary Minster presented a proposed schedule of IHE sessions and other informatics focused courses at RSNA 2009.
1) Timeline for submission of course information and materials.
- Kevin O'Donnell seeking to get speaker commitments by April 7
- Course information needs to be published in Advance Registration brochure; due date for submission is April 15 to allow time to process for publication
- Information to be submitted: Schedule, Titles, Presenters, Abstracts and Learning Objectives
2) Review of proposed course schedule
- Linkage and cross-promotion between courses and IHE demonstration: themes are image sharing and patient control
- May include PDI as well as XDS-I technology
- Preference to place IHE sessions earlier in the week to impact attendee discussions with vendors
- Longer sessions will require combining some IHE topics
- Invite radiologists to take part in Acquiring Systems using IHE
- Action Item: Kevin O'Donnell will invite presenters from among committee participants and vendor/standards community
- Action Item: Chris Carr will invite interest from RIC members in helping with Acquiring Systems presentations
