3 Connectathon
-
Status/Discussion:
  • Gary has completed the PCD-01 generalized MWB profile, and the PIV profile including the generalized ACK for PIV. Others are in process. Robert and Maria have reviewed these. Robert expressed some concerns. John Garguilo noted that the profiles developed for the NIST tools may differ from those required for the MWB. The results of these generalized profile efforts will be of benefit to all participants and to the TF revision.
  • RTM mapping as a requirement – all should be able to meet this requirement. Allen Enebo raised some questions about some of the mappings which were answered. John Garguilo noted that the NIST tools will be using the RTM table to test validity. The latest version is j.
  • EUI-64 – NIST could check for the vendor code (24 bits); each vendor will need to provide their code to enable checking. Robert indicated they will not be able to insert in OBX-18 because some companies won’t be able to obtain this information from the network. The question arose: He asked if it would go in the entity field? It will be in the first field, the only required field. He also asked if a namespace ID is required. Gary responded that this is in the table. This will be added to Table 0363 that he will build.
  • Kudu Issues: Robert noted that PDC will be available and they will not test this. Al Engelbert questioned the test for the PEC; but the source won’t be available.
  • CPs for DEC ACK and PIV: Is there a CP for the ACK in DEC? The consensus is to leave the ACK unchanged for this year (fields 15, 16 NOT blank), but a CP should be submitted. In HL7, when blank this is also Original ACK mode. There are two options: one as in the TI says NE and AL.
  • John noted that the URL for the NIST tests will be posted tomorrow. [Later he recommended participants join Rob Snellick's ITI NIST Tool discussion on the 10th].
  • Each system has a distinct folder under each profile implemented. Please post sending messages as early as possible. The Virtual Connectathon tests will use the Internet unless firewall issues prevent these tests. In that case these tested, posted, messages will substitute from the sending systems.

  • OID: The question was raised about use of the PCD OID this year. Manny to ask John Rhoads about this.

Decisions/Issues:

Action(s):

  • Manny to check that the latest versions of DEC, ACM are the ones posted.
  • Manny was asked to find the ftp link for the PIV CPs.
  • Someone should submit a CP for the DEC ACK.
  • Manny to check PIB message to determine utility this year. Check with Steve M re changing two tests to Grouped Actors rather than PIB as an option – implications for customers.
  • Manny to ask John Rhoads about MSH-21 OID – would the OID provided in Wiki page by John Rhoads be the appropriate OID? For this year, use the OID without extension or assign one to each profile?
