World Summit 2016
- Status and issues
World Summit 2017
- Status of discussion
- IHE Japan, IHE Korea and IHE Austrialia are committed to support a possible World Summit 2017 in Singapore
- They join the Program Planning and support in marketing
- Formal approval of starting further elaboration with HIMSS AsiaPac
- Discussion: To which extend a Intl. Board decision is required at that point
- Outcome: This step does not require a board approval. A concept/team/financial plan/MOU shall be worked out together with HIMSS. This will be subject to a board decision.
- Motion: Continue further elaboration with HIMSS AsiaPac
- Decision: Approved to continue further elaboration with HIMSS AsiaPac to develop a concept/team/financial plan for board decision/MOU
- Note: Announcement at World Summit in Amsterdam is beneficial and should be targeted, but is not strictly required
- Next steps
- Action item: Inform HIMSS AsiaPac (Jürgen)
- Arrange a TCon between IHE and HIMSS AsiaPac for Kick-Off
- Share facts such as attendance numbers of past HIMSS AsiaPac conferences, etc.
Education WG
- Status
- Work-item seems to be deadlocked. Action required to unlock.
- Business plan seems to be still undeveloped including market analysis
- Champion is needed to develop that
- Unless this is development, it cannot be presented to the board
- Next steps
- Action item: Arrange an Education TCon for either suspending this work-item or getting this needed next step done (Mike, Stefan)
